Description: NProtein is a company that leverages on the expertise of Prof. Ricardo Boavida Ferreira and the several teams he led during more than 30 years to study plant-based proteins. When the bridge of the science and the management brought in by two other partners was established, the company was incorporated to offer the market bio-active elements found in plants and legume seeds that can be used for human health or beauty applications and also as an alternative for meat and dairy products for human food. NProtein was already granted several patents and there are other pending ones being analysed. NProtein has a wide portfolio of options and proprietary technologies in different maturity levels and we are already seeking strategic partners to scale up the processes for those that are ready to go to the market and have shown very promising lab results.
