Libatio is our disruptive product that aims to reduce evaporation losses while ensuring the quality of beverages, enhancing the digital transformation in wineries and distilleries mixing tradition and modernity. Libatio is a comprehensive system for real-time monitoring of wine and liquor maturation comprised of a smart bung connected via IoT to a web and mobile platform. The platform provides ad-hoc notifications and alarms based on custom AI algorithms that obtain correlations between variables, estimate optimal environmental conditions and predict evaporation losses while standardizing the quality of the product. Libatio provides a digital solution for the optimization and sustainability of the maturing process in a sector with a low level of digitalization. Specifically, our pilot projects have shown the following positive impacts in wineries: *66% reduction of losses due to evaporation *60% reduction in hours devoted to manual maintenance tasks. *Energy savings of about 20% in frigories.
